Winner Education are delighted to be recruiting an experienced Nursery Assistant for an excellent nursery in Aldridge. This a long term position until end of July initially, but may continue and is to start immediately. The successful candidate must hold at least a Level 2 in Childcare qualification.

LOCATION – Aldridge, Birmingham

HOURS – Part time, 32.5 hours per week

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Support pre-school children

- Assist with activity planning

- Supervise and organise play and learning activities

- Support with snack and mealtimes

- Update daily journals

- Constant communication with parents on the children’s progress

- Attend parent meetings when required

- Be a key worker for a number of children

The successful Nursery Assistant must:

Have previous experience working with EYFS
Have a passion for developing children ready for their school journey
Have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
Hold a Level 3 in Childcare
Have an excellent understanding and knowledge of safeguarding children
Display the skills to be a good role model
